Patch v0.15


Holidays are close! This will be the last patch for this year (unless some important bug fix needs to happen), enjoy!

Patchnotes

As always, please take these with a grain of salt, the changelog might be slightly inaccurate or incomplete. If you want more specifics, you can talk to us in our Discord server!

Hint: Some features are locked behind achievements! Please make sure you have unlocked the correct achievement before reporting missing features/bugs!

New Features

  • Added 8 new achievements (20 in total)
  • Prestige System
  • Gem System (Gems do NOT work yet)
  • Magnet Consumable drops that pull all experience 
  • A new enemy (go find it!)
  • Relic inventory (locked behind achievement)
  • Monitor/Display selection in the options menu

New Features (Multiplayer)

  • (Selectable) Color indicator to distinguish between players
  • Ready System (all players have to click ready for the game to start)
  • Port Forwarding help

Changes

  • Skills are now bought with skill points instead of crystals, skill points are bought with crystals
  • Resource node scaling and base value
  • All Skills have been rebalanced slightly, including their cost
  • Several small UI touch ups
  • Marathon achievement unlock conditions
  • Consumable drops now vanish after 30s
  • XP orbs have received a visual upgrade and should also cost less performance
  • Drop rates for consumables have been lowered
  • Enemies health, damage, speed, and range have been slightly adjusted
  • Enemies movement has been overhauled
  • Difficulty speed from 0.025/s to 0.01/s (Nightmare is after 13 → 33 minutes now)
  • XP curve is less exponential (slower at the start, but less steep in higher levels)
  • Skill (point) crystal cost has been 
  • All Abilities have been balanced, trying out all is highly recommended
  • Enemies scale more quickly with difficulty
  • Crystal Collector achievement conditions, since you get far less crystals now
  • Camera is now zoomed out far more (~50%)

Bugfixes

  • Fixed stats and crystals not saving when revives are not fully used up (reported by AraKusogaki)
  • Fixed revives persisting between runs (reported by AraKusogaki)
  • Fixed loading not working after returning to main menu
  • Fixed enemy scaling for multiplayer
  • Fixed negative damage numbers showing up
  • Fixed damage numbers of other players visible
  • Fixed crits being colored without having the achievement unlocked
  • Fixed experience orbs falling through the ground in the snow biome (reported by AraKusogaki)
  • Fixed Crystal count being visible without the appropiate achievement unlocked
  • Fixed damage buff on level up skill not working
  • Fixed Orbital Stars not actually using the correct stats to scale with
  • Fixed some fonts rendering blurry
